About JTL
Jordan Tekenos-Levy was born and raised in Kingston, Ontario. Educated in both Canada and the United Kingdom, he holds degrees in Criminology (SMU, BA), International Politics (Glasgow, MSc.), and Law (Edinburgh, LLB).
He articled under respected barrister Richard J. Aitken, and now Justice Nathan N. Baker, before being called to the Bar in 2016. Since that time, Mr. Tekenos-Levy has devoted his career exclusively to criminal law. He appears regularly before the Ontario Court of Justice and the Superior Court of Justice, acting for individuals facing serious charges.
As Federal Prosecutor, Mr. Tekenos-Levy prosecutes offences under the Controlled Drugs and Substances Act, on behalf of the Public Prosecution Service of Canada.
Through his private practice, Mr. Tekenos-Levy represents clients charged under the Criminal Code. He does so across Ontario with discretion and precision. His approach is deliberate and personal — grounded in preparation, measured advocacy, and respect for the process.
Outside of the courtroom, he is drawn to travel, sport, music, and literature.
